Who can participate?
Connect One to One is based in middle, high school, and university-level classrooms anywhere in the world.
If you are a teacher or responsible group leader, please contact us to learn how to get connected.

What will students do?
We pair middle and high school classrooms with international partners, and every student in each participating class will have a pen pal to write letters to for one school year. They will exchange 6 or more letters, and get to know each other, share their personal interests, and discover their common humanity.
What can teachers expect?
Teachers and group leaders are provided with program guidelines, student applications, a link to our online survey, letter templates, lessons, and support throughout the year. The process is designed to encourage curiosity, inquiry, and critical thinking. Communicating directly with a peer in another culture powerfully opens minds and hearts, and offers opportunities for perspectives to shift.

What does it cost to participate?
Each participant is asked to pay $15 per year to cover expenses such as international shipping of letters.
*Scholarships are available, please contact us for details.
